I am a junior researcher in conservation sciences. My doctoral work focused on the evocentric approach to biodiversity conservation, which targets the impact of human activities on the evolutionary trajectories of species. Shaped by a multidisciplinary academic background at ENS de Lyon spanning biosciences and environmental philosophy, I have a deep interest in understanding and protecting living beings.

I engage in science communication for general audiences, through talks on the biodiversity crisis, the impacts of climate change, the history of conservation, and environmental ethics. Beyond conveying scientific knowledge, my aim is to offer conceptual tools and a critical perspective on contemporary challenges — on our individual and collective place within the transformations our societies are inevitably navigating.

My Research

I am interested in the connections between science, society, and biodiversity conservation. As part of my PhD at Sorbonne University, I worked the evocentric approach that promotes more integration of evolution in conseration and the reduction of the human evolutionary footprint on life. My research explores metrics and assessment tools and their implementation in conservation policies and practices. My academic path has also led me to study animal behavior, ecology and social interactions (primates, ungulates) and to take part in international forums (COP15 biodiversity, IUCN) where major biodiversity challenges are discussed. Beyond this, I have a strong personal interest in mountain ecosystems, for their understanding, their protection, and for fostering ways of living that adapt to their changes while limiting our impact.
